Niki de Saint Phalle on Naoshima

You may already know it, but French artist Niki de Saint Phalle is one of the permanent residents of Naoshima (or rather some of her art), and that since almost the very beginnings of Benesse Art Site Naoshima.

There are five sculptures of her in the Benesse House park, by the sea. Here are four of them (for some reason I forgot to take pictures of the fifth, it will be for a future visit):

Camel - 1991

La Conversation - 1991

Elephant - 1991

Le Banc - 1989

Here, I should say “don’t miss them if you go to Naoshima”, but honestly, I don’t see how you could miss them if you go to Naoshima, as long as you go to the Benesse House Park and Beach.
