Well, I’m calling this an update, but I wonder if I ever talked about it before.
So, despite all the controversies and issues, the new Kagawa Arena (which will most likely be called the Anabuki Arena) construction is now well underway whether we like it or not.
Here are three shots I brought back today:
It’s been a few months now that you simply can’t miss it if you’re going anywhere near Sunport.
The three parts (the two domes and the smaller budokan on the left) are now connected.
I never cease to be impressed by the construction workers who are working on the roof.
The Kagawa Arena is scheduled to be open in 2025. I suspect that it will be one of the main features of the Setouchi Triennale.
