Here is an artwork that kinda left me wondering. It is called Giant in Our Minds (心の巨人) by Tatsuo Kawaguchi. I’m not sure how to talk about it except by rephrasing what the Setouchi International Art Festival 2010‘s official guide had to say. That is that when Mr. Kawaguchi entered this old rice granary located in Hitoyama on Shodoshima, for the first time, he felt the presence of the giant that used to live there and he inspired him to do that piece of art.

And I guess this is pretty much all I have to say about this artwork (yes, if the Giant’s ghost inspired the artist, it didn’t inspired me much). So I’ll leave you with a few more pictures and do not hesitate to tell me what that Giant inspired you.
