To Shōdoshima

I realize that I really don’t post enough about Shōdoshima here for some reason. Maybe because despite being a fascinating island, I feel that I don’t know it well enough to properly talk about it? Not sure.

I still won’t really do it today, just share pictures about the ride on the Olive Line Ferry to Shōdoshima.

Now, let’s hope I get to post more about Shōdoshima in the near future, the island really deserves more posts here.

  1. It would be very helpful if you could include the link to the ferry website/schedule as I have never been able to find it.

    1. Here is the schedule during the Setouchi Triennale:

I assume it’s pretty much the same the rest of the year.
Honestly, I don’t know the schedule, when I go to Shodoshima, I just show up and take the next ferry.
As you can see there is one every hour or so (or even more if you’re willing to pay double for the high speed boat).
