Takamatsu at Dusk

I know, one of Japan’s New Year tradition is to go see the first sunrise of the year. Honestly, it’s not a tradition I’m too fond of; too cold and too early for me.

So instead (and it started well before Japan actually, the first I can remember is New Year’s Eve 1999) I have my own tradition of going to see the last sunset of the year.

In any case, have fun tonight. Don’t be too bored watching TV if you’re in Japan, stay safe and don’t get too drunk if you’re in other parts of the world. See you next year!
