Ogijima seen from Oshima

What the title says:

Ogijima seen from Oshima

Just a quick post and a quick hello to tell you that, yes, I am still alive and no, this site is not abandoned.

On top of the usual “raising two kids, having a day job to feed aforementioned kids, and wasting too much time on social media,” I’ve been even quieter at writing blog posts than usual because last summer I developed a “herniated-disc-induced sciatic” (I guess we can call it like that.) Until October it was “fine” but since then, staying seated for too long is excruciating. So I reserve my seated time for important and urgent things, sadly while blogging is important, there is nothing urgent about here, sadly. I am following a treatment, while things haven’t gone better yet, at least they’re not getting worse (which is what they did between July and October).

I have also bought a standing desk (we all sit too much nowadays, that’s one of the problems), I’m there now, but I’m still not used to typing long texts from here.

So in other words, I’m still here, just quiet, I’ll be back as soon as possible, hopefully with some surprises, and hopefully before 2025.

Talking about 2025, I’m trying to update my Setouchi Triennale 2025 page every time I get new information, so keep it in your bookmarks, and if by any chance you haven’t done it yet, don’t forget to subscribe to the blog to get new posts directly in your mailbox or elsewhere (RSS or Fediverse too):
