Rui Sato

Rui Sato is this little kid. He’s two years old and he’s one of the many survivors of last month’s disasters.

I don’t know why I can’t stop looking at this picture. It’s so sad and so joyful at the same time. And I’m not ashamed to say that every time I look at it, it brings tears to my eyes.

This kid symbolizes what matters right now. It’s all of those people who have lost everything and that have to rebuild a new life from scratch and if we care about Japan, we should do all we can to make sure this kid and every other survivor has a future to look forward to. That means helping financially if we can, now to help with relief, but on the long-term too, when you buy a new car, a new computer and all of those things.
