I’ve just learned about a 5.4 Magnitude Earthquake in Wakayama Prefecture. It was also strongly felt on Shikoku and on Takamatsu (to get a reference, 康代 told me that she felt only one earthquake in her life, it was the Great Hanshin Earthquake of 1995) .
However, from what I could gather, there was more fear than harm done. While earthquakes are a common occurence in Japan, I guess the events of March 11 have us all on our toes.
