Setouchi Art Guide

If you’re reading this page, I will assume that you know what Art Setouchi is about, at least a little.

Just in case, you can find general information about it here:

Art Setouchi 2021

This current page is an art guide detailing the various artworks that can be found on the islands of Art Setouchi. While it reprises some information from the official site, it also tries to include and regroup some that are not.

I hope you’ll find it helpful. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions for it, do not hesitate to contact me.

Islands and Artworks Guide

The following links will lead you to pages that are site-specific and will give you more information on each island and port, including a list of the artworks that can be seen or experienced there.

Important note: Most artworks are closed for the time being because of the Covid-19 pandemic. And overall, even if you can go to the islands at the moment, it is really not a good idea. Especially if you come from the city, you could be bringing the virus with you (remember that the majority of people who are infected don’t have any symptoms but are still contagious, that could be you or me). The islands have an elderly population with difficult access to urgent or intense healthcare. As such, they are a high-risk population. You don’t want to be the one wreaking havoc in the island communities, do you?

Thank you for your understanding.

Please note that the information that you can find on these pages is by no means official. I’m trying to keep those pages up-to-date but it could happen that some information is inaccurate or outdated. If it turns out to be the case, please excuse me, but keep in mind that this site is maintained solely by the author in his free time. Thanks for your understanding.
